Istanbulspor delivered the third consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat Bursaspor (1-2) 88-78. Istanbulspor made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American guard Walter Lemon Jr. (190-92, college: Bradley) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) helped adding 22 points and 11 rebounds. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Croatia guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) scored 13 points. Bursaspor's coach Semsettin Bas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Istanbulspor's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Acibadem.
