Liga Nationala top team - Steaua CSM (3-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked BC Timisoara (2-2) in Bucuresti 85-71. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Timisoara. Steaua CSM looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Serbian Nikola Jevtovic (208-89) who scored that evening 27 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Cameron Long (193-88, college: George Mason, agency: Inception Sports) supported him with 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Even 15 points and 4 assists by Montenegrin power forward Milos Komatina (206-84) did not help to save the game for BC Timisoara. Serbian guard Mladen Jeremic (198-88, agency: 011 Sports) added 15 points and 4 assists for lost side. Steaua CSM have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record. Loser BC Timisoara dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. Steaua CSM will meet at home league's second-placed Oradea in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Timisoara will play against Pitesti (#3) and hope to secure a win.
