The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Friendsfactory Germering (2-1) on the court of top-ranked BasCats Heidelberg on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by BasCats Heidelberg 85-59. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Friendsfactory Germering. The game was mostly controlled by BasCats Heidelberg. Friendsfactory Germering managed to win third quarter 26-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BasCats Heidelberg dominated on the defensive end, holding Friendsfactory Germering to just 4 points in fourth quarter. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BasCats Heidelberg have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 4-0 record. Friendsfactory Germering at the other side dropped to the fourth place with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
