There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Gruner Stern Keltern (3-2) beat on the road 5th ranked Hannover (3-2) 69-59. The game was mostly controlled by Gruner Stern Keltern. Hannover was better in fourth quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Serbian Marina Markovic (185-91) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Latvia center Anita Teilane (195-85, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 7 points and 12 rebounds.
