Bottom-ranked TuSLi Berlin (0-3) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their third consecutive match to eighth ranked Krofdorf/Gleib. (2-2) 68-57 on Sunday evening. TuSLi Berlin was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Krofdorf/Gleib. forced 35 TuSLi Berlin turnovers. Strangely TuSLi Berlin outrebounded Krofdorf/Gleib. 47-28 including a 32-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Roos Hof (183-94) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Erin Bratcher (175-92, college: Charleston So.) who added 15 points and 4 steals during the contest. Four Krofdorf/Gleib. players scored in double figures. At the losing side Annalena Blume (180-96) responded with 10 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Blanca Stammer (175-0) scored 12 points. TuSLi Berlin's coach Alexandra Maerz rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Krofdorf/Gleib. moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with Opladen and Osnabruecker TB. Loser TuSLi Berlin still closes the standings with three games lost. Krofdorf/Gleib. will face B.Loewen (#8) on the road in the next round. TuSLi Berlin will play against Baskets Grunberg and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
