Important game to mention about took place in Klaipeda. Fortuna (3-0) saved a 3-point victory at home edging Kibirkstis-VICI (2-1) 63-60 in the game for the first place. It was a great shooting night for Fortuna especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. It was a great evening for guard AndraAndra Gabalyte (179-80, college: Liberty) who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Lina Mikeleviciene (182-87) helped adding 18 points. The best for the losing side was forward Vita Kuktiene (185-80) with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Justina Kraujunaite (178-95) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Kibirkstis-VICI's coach Jurgita Streimikyte rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fortuna will play against Suduva (#5) in Marijampole in the next round. Kibirkstis-VICI will play on the road against Aistes-LSU in Kaunas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
