Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Friendsfactory Germering and 5th ranked Rhein Main Baskets had identical 2-1 record. This time Friendsfactory Germering used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Langen 85-76 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the second position in South. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 9 points. Friendsfactory Germering dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Rhein Main Baskets' 30 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game.
