Regular Season Round 6: Silute - Vytis 92-82

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Silute (4-2) defeated at home bottom-ranked Vytis (1-5) 92-82. The game was mostly controlled by Silute. Vytis was better in second period 24-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Silute players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) notched 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Simas Raupys (195-94) supported him with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Even 32 points and 5 assists by guard Paulius Beliavicius (194-88) did not help to save the game for Vytis. Forward Povilas Butkevicius (203-87, agency: Players Group) added 19 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Silute moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Vytis at the other side dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. Silute's next round opponent will be KTU (#11) in Kaunas and are hoping to win another game. Vytis will play at home against the league's leader Suduva-Mantinga and hope to win that game.
