Regular Season Round 3: Sanjoanense - Dragon Force 66-72

Dragon Force (3-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat Sanjoanense (1-2) 72-66. It was a quality performance for power forward Diogo Araujo (201-97) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Pedro Baptista (181-97) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Dragon Force's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Pedro Azevedo (193-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Mario Goncalves (200-80) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Sanjoanense in the defeat. Dragon Force will meet at home Guifoes (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sanjoanense will play against Academico FC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
