Sixth ranked Crailsheim Merlins (4-2) crushed at home 13th ranked Titans (1-5) by 26 points 97-71, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Crailsheim Merlins dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Titans' 28. Crailsheim Merlins forced 19 Titans turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Titans' players. Finnish Tuukka Kotti (205-81, college: Providence) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 12 points, 10 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Crailsheim Merlins will face bottom-ranked Koeln Rh.Stars (#16) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Titans will play against White Wings and hope to win that game.
