Regular Season Round 1: Parklji - Sezana 60-78

Parklji was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Sezana 78-60 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-60. Sezana dominated on the defensive end, holding Parklji to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Parklji's 28. They outrebounded Parklji 42-27 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Gasper Jordan Rojko (200-96) fired 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Center Mirnes Husic (203-85) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Five Sezana players scored in double figures. Guard Ziga Doljak (198-95) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Milos Varagic (197-87) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Parklji's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sezana will face Pingvini (#12) in Ljubljana in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Parklji will play on the road against Ilirija (#2) in Ljubljana and hope to win that game.
