Regular Season Round 1: Triglav - Crnomelj 75-68

Triglav used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Crnomelj 75-68 on Saturday night. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 30-16. But Crnomelj won second period 18-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Triglav won last quarter 21-15. Crnomelj was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Tjaz Rotar (185-94) fired 23 points for the winners. Guard Rok Jakobcic (199-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Triglav players scored in double figures. Guard Matic Lozar (183-92) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and center Ales Kunc (208-73, college: Missouri St.) added 23 points respectively for lost side. Triglav will face Plama Pur (#4) in Ilirska Bistrica in the next round. Crnomelj will play at home against Celje and hope to win that game.
