Regular Season Round 3: SISU - Amager 77-60

Amager (1-1) recorded a loss in Copenhagen. Visitors were defeated by SISU (2-1) 77-60. It looked good early as Amager took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then SISU had a 25-16 second period charge getting the lead and Amager was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-77. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Amager to just 7 points in third quarter. SISU made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Jazmine Redmon (173-91, college: Gonzaga) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Her fellow American import swingman Shaniqua Nilles (183-93, college: Gonzaga) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four SISU players scored in double figures. Filipino-American forward Kelly Hardeman (183-94, college: Azusa Pacific) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) added 11 points in the effort for Amager. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SISU will play against Stevnsgade (#6) on the road in the next round. Amager will play against Aabyhoj to get more than just one victory in their record.
