There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (2-3) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Rostock (2-3) 82-69 on Sunday. Rostock made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. American point guard Jarvis Davis (183-91, college: Gardner-Webb) stepped up and scored 22 points for the winners and naturalized American Andres Murillo (201-90, college: Biola, CA, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Rostock players scored in double figures. Rostock's coach Andreas Barthel allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
