No shocking result in a game when leader Horsens IC (4-0) beat at home 6th ranked Naestved (1-2) 97-79 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Naestved managed to win second period 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American point guard Myles Mack (175-93, college: Rutgers) contributed with 22 points and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Deon Mitchell (186-93, college: N.Iowa) answered with 18 points and the other American import guard Damon Jones (186-94, college: Mercyhurst) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Naestved. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Horsens IC have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Bakken. Naestved at the other side keeps the sixth place with two games lost. Horsens IC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Naestved will play on the road against SISU (#7) in Copenhagen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
