Regular Season Round 6: Bamberg - Speyer 82-54

Date: October 29, 2016
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Don Bosco Bamberg (4-2) crushed at home 7th ranked Speyer / Schifferstadt (2-3) 82-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Don Bosco Bamberg. Speyer / Schifferstadt was better in second period 18-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American power forward Tori Waldner (196-93, college: Penn St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Guard Julia Foerner (176-1) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Don Bosco Bamberg players scored in double figures. Don Bosco Bamberg's coach Ulf Schabacker felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American guard Jennifer Mocanu (172-90) replied with 17 points and Canadian forward Kathryn Verboom (179-86) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Speyer / Schifferstadt.
