Ovarense can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Lusitania (1-3) 68-61 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 7 points. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Joao Fernandes (198-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Nick Novak (182-90, college: Pitt-Johnstown, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
