The game in Kaunas was also quite interesting. Third ranked Perlas-MRU (6-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Zalgiris II (3-5). Perlas-MRU defeated Zalgiris II 90-78 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zalgiris II. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 48-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Perlas-MRU dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Zalgiris II's 32. It was a great shooting night for Perlas-MRU especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Margiris Normantas (193-96) who scored 32 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Domantas Pipiras (203-91) chipped in 14 points.
