There was a surprise result in Deisenhofen where thirteenth ranked Oberhaching (2-4) edged higher ranked Zwickau (3-3) 89-88 on Sunday. American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) fired 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Janosch Koegler (190-93) chipped in 14 points. Center Mario Nagler (203-87) produced 24 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Felix Fraas (184-94) added 20 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Four Zwickau players scored in double figures. Oberhaching moved-up to ninth place in South-East, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Zwickau dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Oberhaching will face higher ranked TSV Troester (#3) in Breitenguessbach in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zwickau will play at home against Coburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
