There was a minor upset when higher ranked Ormanspor (3-2) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Mersin Gelisim (3-2) 74-65 on Sunday. Mersin Gelisim forced 26 Ormanspor turnovers. Strangely Ormanspor outrebounded Mersin Gelisim 45-27 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ormanspor was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Yaren Uslular (167-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American center Nadia Parker (191-87, college: USC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Parker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Nigeria-American center Aisha Mohammed (191-85, college: Virginia) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 22 rebounds and guard Tugce Inoentepe (173-87, agency: LBM Management) added 12 points and 7 assists in the effort for Ormanspor.
