Regular Season Round 4: Interkhim - DVUFK 76-43

Superleague top team - Interkhim (6-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked DVUFK (0-7) in Odessa 76-43. The game without a history. Interkhim led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held DVUFK to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.1 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded DVUFK 55-40 including 20 on the offensive glass. Interkhim looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by DVUFK's players. The winners were led by guard Natalia Kolotovska (173-90) who scored that evening 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and swingman Svitlana Kolibabchuk (189-87) supported her with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Interkhim players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds by power forward Daryna Dubrovska (190-99) did not help to save the game for DVUFK. Forward Tamara Budonna (170-1) added 4 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Interkhim have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-0 record. Loser DVUFK still closes the standings with seven games lost. Interkhim will meet at home Tavriyska Zivka (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. DVUFK will play against HAI and hopes to get finally their first victory.
