Regular Season Round 6: SISU - Naestved 65-67

A very close game took place in Copenhagen between Naestved and SISU. Sixth ranked Naestved (2-3) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked SISU (1-5). Naestved managed to escape with a 2-point win 67-65 in the fight for the sixth place. SISU cut a 16-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was Senegalese forward Cheikh Sane (207-92, college: Marshall, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. American forward Phillip Nolan (208-93, college: Connecticut, agency: Two Points) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Tanner McGrew (203, college: W.Virg.Wesl., agency: Duran International) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Kyle Dranginis (196, college: Gonzaga) added 17 points respectively. Four SISU players scored in double figures. Naestved maintains sixth position with 2-3 record. Loser SISU keeps the seventh place with five games lost. Naestved will meet higher ranked Svendborg (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. SISU will have a break next round.
