Spars Sarajevo used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Trebinje 70-63. Spars Sarajevo forced 21 Leotar turnovers. Strangely Leotar outrebounded Spars Sarajevo 36-18 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for international point guard Adi Zahiragic (187-95) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Serbian swingman Igor Djukovic (202-87) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Spars Sarajevo's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international forward Bozo Djurasovic (200-87) came up with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Montenegrin forward Bojan Pelkic (204-83) added 7 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Leotar in the defeat.
