Regular Season Round 7: Karlsruhe PS - Elchingen 90-64

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Karlsruhe. First ranked Karlsruhe PS faced their biggest opponent Elchingen. Host Karlsruhe PS (6-1) smashed guests from Elchingen (4-2) 90-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Elchingen. It was a great shooting night for Karlsruhe PS especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Orlando Parker (203-91, college: Wagner) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Dmitrj Kreis (188-88) chipped in 7 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Karlsruhe PS players scored in double figures. American guard Brandon Lockhart (185-90, college: Drury) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Hungarian-Serbian Branislav Jancikin (198-86, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Elchingen's coach Dario Jerkic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Karlsruhe PS have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Newly promoted Karlsruhe PS maintains first place in South with 6-1 record. Elchingen at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. Karlsruhe PS are looking forward to face Dragons Rhoendorf (#5) on the road in the next round. Elchingen will play against Fraport Skyliners II and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
