The game between second ranked Izmit (5-2) and eighth ranked Ormanspor (5-2) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Izmit was defeated by Ormanspor in a tough game in Izmit 70-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Izmit. They outrebounded Izmit 37-26 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nigeria-American center Aisha Mohammed (191-85, college: Virginia) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four Izmit players scored in double figures. Ormanspor moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Izmit. Ormanspor is looking forward to face league's second-placed Bornova at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
