The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel smashed 10th ranked Barmer TV at home 77-55. The game without a history. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Barmer TV to just 3 points in second quarter. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel's coach Pierre Hohn felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Franziska Goessmann (170-89) responded with 26 points and swingman Elina Stahmeyer (180-91) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Barmer TV at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost. Barmer TV will play next round against TuSLi Berlin trying to get back on the winning streak.
