Bottom-ranked Sampaense is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to ninth ranked Ovarense (2-3) 69-67. Sampaense was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 23-13 charge of Ovarense, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Nick Novak (182-90, college: Pitt-Johnstown, agency: Dynamics Global Management) stepped up and scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international point guard Jaime Silva (187-80) chipped in 23 points. Ovarense's coach Nuno Manarte allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
