There was no surprise in Bursa where 15th ranked Final Genclik (2-6) was defeated by eighth ranked Samsun (5-3) 84-80 on Wednesday. Samsun shot 28 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Final Genclik only scored twelve points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jerry Smith (188-87, college: Louisville, agency: HMS) who scored 29 points and 6 rebounds. Guinea-American forward Ousmane Drame (206-93, college: Quinnipiac) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSU Moorhead) produced 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigeria center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford, agency: SDJ Sports) added 17 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for the hosts. Final Genclik's coach Ali Uruk rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Samsun moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams.
