Regular Season Round 7: Svendborg - Naestved 95-90

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Svendborg (5-3) defeated at home 6th ranked Naestved (2-4) 95-90. It looked good early as Naestved took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Svendborg had a 22-17 second period charge getting the lead and Naestved was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 90-95. Svendborg had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Naestved was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Argentinian-Italian point guard Antonio Porta (187-83, agency: Players Group) contributed with 26 points and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Deon Mitchell (186-93, college: N.Iowa) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import guard Damon Jones (186-94, college: Mercyhurst) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Naestved. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Svendborg moved-up to second place. Naestved at the other side keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
