The game in Odessa was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Zaporizhya (6-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Bipa Basket (5-5). Bipa Basket defeated Zaporizhya 83-71. The game was mostly controlled by Bipa Basket. Zaporizhya was better in fourth quarter 26-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bipa Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Zaporizhya's 32. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Bipa Basket will play against league's second-placed Dnipro in Dnepropetrovsk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zaporizhya will play on the road against the league's leader Khimik in Yuzhny and hopes to get back on the winning track.
