Regular Season Round 4: Plama Pur - Grosuplje 84-64

Everything could happen in Ilirska Bistrica at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Plama Pur and 6th ranked Grosuplje had identical 2-1 record. This time Plama Pur used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Grosuplje 84-64 on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Plama Pur. Grosuplje was better in second period 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Jaka Brlan (-90) chipped in 29 points (made all of his seven free throws). Four Plama Pur players scored in double figures. Power forward Tomo Cajic (200-85) produced 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Nini Gabrijel (178-98) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Plama Pur (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with Konjice and Celje. Loser Grosuplje keeps the sixth position with two games lost. Plama Pur will face Crnomelj (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Grosuplje will play against Konjice (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
