Regular Season Round 8: Dragons - Karlsruhe PS 73-82

ProB top team - Karlsruhe PS (7-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (4-4) 82-73. Karlsruhe PS dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Dragons Rhoendorf's 32. American forward Orlando Parker (203-91, college: Wagner) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import forward Jordan Talbert (198-91, college: Missouri So.) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Aaron Nelson (203-91, college: S.Indiana) replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Viktor Frankl-Maus (186-93) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists in the effort for Dragons Rhoendorf. Dragons Rhoendorf's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Karlsruhe PS have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Newly promoted Karlsruhe PS maintains first position in South with 7-1 record. Loser Dragons Rhoendorf dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. Karlsruhe PS will face Wuerzburg (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dragons Rhoendorf will play against Elchingen and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProA just one year after relegation.
