Important game to mention about took place in Figueira da Foz. Seventh ranked Ginasio (3-3) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Guifoes (2-4) 74-72 in the game for the fourth place. The former international center Marco Goncalves (206-84) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Cape Verdean forward Joaquim Soares (198-83) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Ginasio players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Pedro Meireless (193-95) with 19 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Paulo Ruge (198-96) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ginasio have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group North. Guifoes at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Sangalhos and Academico FC. Ginasio will play against league's leader Dragon Force in Porto in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Guifoes will play at home against the league's second-placed Vasco (#2) and hope to get back on the winning track.
