Regular Season Round 9: Mugla Orman - Mamak DSI 63-78

Bottom-ranked Muglaorman (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 78-63 loss to fifteenth ranked Mamak DSI (3-6) in Mugla on Saturday evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Guard Ihsan Yalcin Azizmahmutogullari (188-82) stepped up and scored 9 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and American guard Ramel Bradley (188-85, college: Kentucky) chipped in 20 points and 6 assists. Four Mamak DSI players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Ricky Harris (187-87, college: Massachusetts) with 20 points and the other American import center Marvin Jefferson (206-86, college: Idaho) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Mamak DSI moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Yalova Bld. Muglaorman lost their ninth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with nine games lost. Mamak DSI will meet at home higher ranked Gelisim (#10) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Muglaorman will play against Socar Petkim (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
