Important game to mention about took place in Allmendingen. Fourteenth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (3-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked White Wings (6-4) 82-79 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of White Wings. Ehingen/Urspringschule dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to White Wings' 24. They outrebounded White Wings 40-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. Ehingen/Urspringschule players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 assists. Forward Daniel Berger (203-90, college: BYU-Hawaii) contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Ehingen/Urspringschule's coach Domenik Reinboth allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Kruize Pinkins (203-93, college: USF) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Eugene Harris (187-86, college: High Point) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for White Wings. Four White Wings players scored in double figures. Ehingen/Urspringschule moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Nuernberg and Koeln Rh.Stars. White Wings at the other side keep the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Chemnitz. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play against higher ranked Crailsheim Merlins (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. White Wings will play against Baunach and hope to get back on the winning track.
