Regular Season Round 9: Marburg - Saarlouis 70-66

The game between second ranked TV Saarlouis Royals (7-2) and fifth ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg (6-3) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. TV Saarlouis Royals were defeated by BC Pharmaserv Marburg in a tough game in Marburg 66-70. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-66. BC Pharmaserv Marburg forced 20 TV Saarlouis Royals turnovers. BC Pharmaserv Marburg moved-up to fourth place. TV Saarlouis Royals at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. BC Pharmaserv Marburg are looking forward to face league's leader TSV 1880 Wasserburg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TV Saarlouis Royals will play against ChemCats Chemnitz and are hoping to win this game.
