American center Akila McDonald (193-91, college: S.Florida) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and forward Ebru Torun (-87) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Yalova Vip's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American center Merissa Quick (190-93, college: Emporia St.) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Aygun Ayyildiz (-93) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Yalova Vip moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Urla BLD and Elazig. Loser Ferko Ilgaz dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Yalova Vip will face TED Ankara (#14) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ferko Ilgaz will play against Nevsehir Uni and hope to win that game.
