The game in Randers was also quite interesting. 4th placed Horsholm (4-3) played at the court of fifth ranked Randers (5-4). Randers defeated Horsholm 103-91 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Horsholm. The game without a history. Randers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. Randers shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Power forward Marinus Mouboe (212-96) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and forward Casper Jorgensen (201-92) accounted for 23 points and 5 rebounds. Randers' coach Morten Hansen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Mikael Nielsen (180-90) came up with 31 points and American Jyles Smith (209-92, college: Savannah St.) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Horsholm in the defeat. Five Randers and four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Randers moved-up to third place, which they share with Svendborg. Loser Horsholm dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Randers will meet at home bottom-ranked Stevnsgade (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Horsholm will play against Svendborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
