Regular Season Round 10: TSV Troester - Bad Aibling 113-105

Second defeat of Bad Aibling (7-2) against fourth ranked TSV Troester (7-2) 113-105 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bad Aibling. It was a key game for the second position in South-East. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. TSV Troester made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Bad Aibling turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Bad Aibling helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Joerg Dippold (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. Center Erik Land (205-90) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. TSV Troester's coach Johannes Laub used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard David Bergfeld (-88) replied with 24 points and 5 assists and Serbian center Miljan Grujic (206) added 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Bad Aibling. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. TSV Troester moved-up to second place in South-East, which they share with defeated Bad Aibling. Bad Aibling will play next round against Topstar trying to make it back to the top of the standings. TSV Troester will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Treuchtlingen in Treutchlingen.
