No shocking result in a game when second ranked Coburg (7-1) beat 11th ranked Topstar (3-6) in Diedorf 82-74 on Saturday. Coburg forced 23 Topstar turnovers. Topstar was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American forward Jordan Burris (201-92, college: CS San Bernar.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Fabian Franke (198-88) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Coburg players scored in double figures. American forward Joshua Hart (198-90, college: Va Intermont) replied with 24 points and 6 rebounds and Slovenian guard Emanuel Richter (192-86) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Topstar. Coburg have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of South-East leader. Loser Topstar dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Coburg will face Herzogenaurach (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Topstar will play against Bad Aibling and hope to win that game.
