Very expected game when 9th ranked Phoenix Galati (1-6) was defeated at home by second ranked UBT Cluj Napoca (7-1) 82-76. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-14. But Phoenix Galati won third quarter 26-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international Vlad Moldoveanu (206-88, college: American) nailed 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American Kyndall Dykes (192-87, college: New Orleans) accounted for 14 points. Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. UBT Cluj Napoca's coach Mihai Silvasan allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
