Regular Season Round 7: KK Primorska - Helios 71-65

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Domzale: Lastovka (#6) and Helios (#2). Lastovka (5-2) won against visiting Helios (5-2) 71-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Helios. Helios were trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 20-11 charge of Lastovka, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for Georgian guard Duda Sanadze (196-92, college: San Diego) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Bosnian swingman Nikola Gajic (195-91, college: SF Austin) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Lastovka's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Brandyn Curry (187-91, college: Harvard) came up with 17 points and 4 assists and Czech Tomas Kyzlink (195-93) added 16 points respectively for Helios in the defeat. Lastovka moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Helios. Lastovka will meet league's leader Zlatorog in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Helios will play against Rogaska and hope to secure a win.
