No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked BBC Bayreuth (9-1) beat 14th ranked Walter Tigers (3-7) in Tuebingen 87-77 on Sunday. BBC Bayreuth made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for BBC Bayreuth especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. American players dominated also this game. Forward De'Mon Brooks (201-92, college: Davidson) notched 16 points to lead the effort and point guard Kyan Anderson (180-92, college: TCU, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 17 points. Even 15 points by Barry Stewart (193-88, college: Mississippi St.) did not help to save the game for Walter Tigers. Center Gary McGhee (209-88, college: Pittsburgh) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BBC Bayreuth have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Walter Tigers keep the fourteenth position with seven games lost. BBC Bayreuth will meet at home EnBW Ludwigsburg (#6) in the next round. Walter Tigers will play against SC Rasta Vechta (#17) and hope to secure a win.
