A very interesting game took place in Yalova. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 14th ranked Yalova Bld (3-7) to sixteenth ranked Pertevniyal (3-7) 70-67 in the fight for the fourteenth place. Forward Nedim Yucel (203-79) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Ege Arar (208-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and forward Mert Eken (193-87) added 11 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Four Yalova Bld players scored in double figures. Pertevniyal moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Yalova Bld and Duzce Bld. Yalova Bld lost third consecutive game. Pertevniyal's next round opponent will be higher ranked Turk Telekom (#5) in Ankara and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
