KTU was ahead by 10 points after three quarters before a 33-19 charge of Perlas-MRU, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded KTU 36-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for guard Aistis Pilauskas (182-98) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Lukas Kvedaravicius (206-97) accounted for 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Perlas-MRU players scored in double figures. Guard Aidas Kavaliauskas (185-95) came up with 19 points and 5 assists and Paulius Knyza (194-91) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for KTU in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Perlas-MRU moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted KTU keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Perlas-MRU's next round opponent will be Delikatesas (#12) in Joniskis and are hoping to win another game. KTU will play on the road against Petrochema (#13) in Jonava and hope to win that game.
