Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Istanbulspor (9-2) beat at home 17th ranked Final Genclik (2-9) 76-68. American guard Walter Lemon Jr. (190-92, college: Bradley) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Istanbulspor players scored in double figures. Istanbulspor's coach Hakan Yavuz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford, agency: SDJ Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Rahim Rizvanoglu (183-86) added 6 points, 9 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Final Genclik. Istanbulspor moved-up to third place. Final Genclik lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventeenth position with nine games lost. Istanbulspor's next round opponent will be league's leader Sakarya BSB in Sakaraya and it will be for sure the game of the week. Final Genclik will play at home against Turk Telekom (#5) and hope to win that game.
