The game between Top Four teams took place in Afyonkarahisar. 3rd placed host Afyon Bld (8-3) lost to second ranked Sakarya BSB (10-1) 62-53. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Afyon Bld. It was an exceptional evening for American C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) who led the winners and scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Kerem Gonlum (208-77) accounted for 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Hadi Ozdemir (203-83) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Slovenian power forward Miha Zupan (205-82) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Afyon Bld in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Sakarya BSB. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Eskisehir Basket. Afyon Bld at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Sakarya BSB will play against Istanbulspor (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Afyon Bld will play against Akhisar Bld and hopes to get back on the winning track.
