Regular Season Round 6: Elektra - Plama Pur 60-68

Very expected game in Sostanj where 10th ranked Elektra (1-5) was defeated by third ranked Plama Pur (5-1) 68-60. It looked good early as Elektra took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Plama Pur took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 8 points. 26 personal fouls committed by Elektra helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Jaka Brlan (-90) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Sanel Bajramlic (198-85) replied with 18 points and 9 rebounds and center Edvin Babajic (197-97) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Elektra. Four Elektra players scored in double figures. Plama Pur have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 5-1 record behind leader Ilirija. Elektra at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with five games lost. Plama Pur's next round opponent will be Konjice (#4) at home. Elektra will play against Branik (#12) in Maribor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
