Regular Season Round 6: Zrinjski HT - Mladost 85-69

The most important game in the last round took place in Mostar between second ranked Mladost (4-2) and fifth ranked Zrinjski HT (4-2) on Saturday night. Mladost was defeated by Zrinjski HT on the road 69-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mladost. Zrinjski HT forced 19 Mladost turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Mladost's players. It was a good game for Croatian center Ljubo Samadan (207-83, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led his team to a victory with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Vedran Princ (191-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists for the winners. Four Zrinjski HT players scored in double figures. Serbian center Bojan Stanojevic (203-88) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Montenegrin point guard Nenad Vukovic (188-94) added 16 points in the effort for Mladost. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zrinjski HT moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Mladost. Zrinjski HT is looking forward to face Spars Sarajevo (#4) on the road in the next round. Mladost will play against Kakanj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
