Bottom-ranked Dukes managed to get the second consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they won against fifth-ranked Vienna in Klosterneuburg 78-64. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Dukes's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-19 extending their advantage to 14 points. Dukes outrebounded Vienna 45-26 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Dukes especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. International Romed Vieider (195-91) fired 25 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Maurice Barrow (198-92, college: Fairfield) chipped in 21 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) produced 24 points and international forward Sebastian Koch (202-88) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Dukes (3-6) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with UBSC Graz and Vienna. Dukes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Vienna will play against UBSC Graz (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
